Like invariably there's this attitude of 'those people over there' and talking about how fractured the community is, and zero effort to create better online spaces or provide alternatives for people who are unknowingly getting into seriously risky play or to meet any of those people where they are

Because they don't fit our models, don't come to our expensive, inaccessible, in-person events, don't like our porn, etc. we don't have to think about them, we can just sit here and despair about it on twitter instead
