don't gender me
'Don't gender me' means:
- Don't use gendered language to talk about me. I'm not a girl, or boy, or enby, or agender. You do not need to refer to a gender when you're talking about me, ever, so don't.
- Don't call me non-binary, especially if you're using it as a catch-all third gender.
- If you have gender preferences for things (intimacy, etc.) don't try to do them with me, I'm not interested in being 'close enough' to what you want.
- I'm trans, and it's fine to say so.
